Achievements and accomplishments in the field of Women Empowerment have been many over the years. Below are some of these achievements:
- Strengthening the capacities of women in Feminist research
- Strengthening the capacities of women in Advocacy and Lobbying
- Creation of Academic programs, recognized by the government
- Leadership training and community awareness programs on the issues of women
- Providing a support system, such as a nursery, to enable women to continue with professional employment
- Providing constant support and counseling to women
- Conducting various research projects pertaining to women's issues
- After 6 years of persistent effort and networking with other organizations, we achieved changes in the Personal Status Law at the government level to improve women's status.
- Publishing materials on women gender issues
- Established various networks to deal with women issues
- Organized a CEDAW group. Wrote and published 4 shadow reports on the status of Palestinian women in Israel.
- Increased women's participation in the community by supporting them to implement various activities in our community
- Together with the women in the newly recognized villages, we established 5 different centers
- Conducted and published two researches: Palestinian Women Organizations and Women in the Media
- Raised the issue of Gender inequality on different levels
- Raised an awareness and initiated new program working with a very marginalized group; Palestinian women with special needs
- Co-established a feminist forum with fellow collaborators.
- Together with others, initiated a feminist reflection group that authored and published an article detailing our struggles during the COVID period.
- Coordinated joint events on March 8th and November 25th.
- Collaboratively published 3 research papers on personal status law with the coalition.
- Published 3 research papers on violence against women in association with WAVO and the Israeli Women's Network
