Mukagha is the first sound that children pronounce. Researchers have demonstrated that this sound is related to the baby’s feeling of satisfaction. In the Arabic language, the sound receives further importance because it enhances the language development of sounds specific to Arabic. In Palestinian cultural heritage, parents use special games to support the development of this sound and it becomes the first verbal communication between the baby and his/her surroundings. All this has motivated us to choose the name of this book which reflects our approach to combining heritage with new scientific experience.
